Many people are under the impression that the bikini swimwear is the only sexy style of bathing suit available, however, try asking some men about that and many will say that women wearing one piece swimsuits are much more alluring. Why? Because it leaves something to the imagination; gives them something to think about as a little mysterious. So, do not think that you need to wear a sexy bikini in order to get attention, because men love a little mystery as well.

There are several ways that a one piece swimsuit can be designed to give optimum exposure and yet still leave something to the imagination. For example, some have a maillot that has certain cut out areas that helps to break up the straight line and accentuate your feminine curves.

If you're looking for a sexy yet contemporary look, then try to find a swimsuit that has asymmetrical slashes that show skin between some of them and others that use bold, vibrant colors, such as fuchsia, yellow and orange. Some one piece swimsuits may even appear to show more skin than bikini swimwear. You can always find something a little more modest if you are not quite ready to show all that skin.

Of course, you can’t forget that contemporary yet classy look, with something like an animal print one piece swimsuit. All of these wild prints, from spotted like a Dalmatian to striped like a Zebra and everything else in between, are always in style. If stylish yet subtle is your style, then consider swimsuits with some type of small styling on the straps, such as rings or even small ruffles.

There are many different styles available and with a little extra work on your part you should be able to find one that flatters your particular body shape.

As with any womens swimwear, there are certain styles that look better on some body shapes than others. For example, if you have a boyish figure like me where your shoulders, waist and hips are close to the same size, then you need to look for one piece swimsuits that are more feminine in soft pastels with flowers and ruffles along the bust and hips, as this style will give an illusion of more curves. If you are slightly top heavy, then you need a suit that has wider straps on the top to help hold you up. For a more pear shaped figure, look for suits that have no adornment and are smaller on the bottom in order to avoid attention being drawn there.

Personally, I love one piece swimsuits the most and consider them the sexiest of all.

It’s not uncommon for women to avoid wearing a swimsuit unless she feels like her body is perfect, but it’s important to keep in mind that most of the “regular” women buying swimsuits aren’t fabulously toned either.

We want to feel beautiful and sexy, whether we’re laying in the sun at the side of the pool or having a day at the beach.  Plus sized swimwear lines have really done a fantastic job recognizing this. What’s great is that there are swimwear options that are created to compliment a woman’s body.

Plus size swimwear is available with a wide variety of trendy choices.  They are designed to offer more support and coverage for plus size figures. If you love a two piece but want a little modesty and extra support, think about a tankini style.  You can also pair a tankini top with a pair of plus sized shorts for lounging at the beach. A plus sized woman still has every right to feel at ease and confident while wearing her swimwear.

A style that gives a flattering silhouette is the best. Often times a plus size swimsuit top will offer more coverage. Give your bust line and figure a lift with a sexy v-neck or scoop neck style.  With these different options, you’ll be able to be at ease and feel great in your swimwear.  Bathing suit bottoms for plus sized styles are typically skirts, briefs and shorts. A skirt style flatters your size and conceals flaws like no other swimsuit bottom.  Brief bottoms go really well with a stylish v-neck top.

The typical woman may never have what she considers to be the perfect figure, but that doesn’t mean we can’t feel sexy and comfortable in our swimsuit. Whether a customer is a size 8 or a size twenty-eight, shape concerns are typical. When it comes to swim suit shopping, women should keep in mind that how they feel about themselves is most important over everything else. Then buy that swimwear style you love, and have fun. There’s no one else who wears that plus sized swimwear just the way that you do!

If you’ve got issues concerning your abs or stomach, you should choose a tankini. It is a combination of a tight fitting tank top and bikini bottom. The tight fitting top covers most of or all of the middle section and also shapes it to look slimmer. There are also one piece swimsuits that have stomach slimming effects.

If you feel that your bottom half  is far from being attractive, you can get the attention away from them by emphasizing your other features. You can get push-up tops to flaunt your bust, or go for high-cut legs that can make your lower half look more slender.

If you have large breasts, go for tops with sufficient coverage and support.  Underwires would help keep them in place, too.

Think you lack curves? Push-up tops and boy shorts can make you look more curvaceous.
